To whom it may concern,

I’m contacting you regarding my decision to cancel my LA Fitness membership. Attached is a PDF document with my cancellation form that was printed from the website.

I’m well aware that your company’s cancellation policy requires customers to either appear in-person at their local gym, or print and mail the cancellation form to our office.

Hovever, I am currently under a mandated quarantine due to COVOID-19 outbreak, and do not want to risk my life by purchasing a packet of stamps during a global pandemic.

As a company that prides itself on the importance of health & wellness, surely you can sympathize with my concerns during this difficult time.

Lastly, given the fact that your online website and mobile app is secure enough to store my debit card & personal information, it seems counter-intuitive that LA Fitness would make it’s customers print a physical document, and mail it in order to cancel their membership.

It’s been almost two-and-a-half months without any confirmation of my cancellation request.

You claim to have the latest state-of-the-art workout equipment, yet can’t process a simple cancellation request without a physically printed and mailed document.

I haven’t seen this level of predatory business practices since Blockbuster’s infamous late fee policies.
